@cchaos Here is the prop we talked about that turns the EuiSuperDatePicker into just an interval UI. What do you think? Below are some screen shots of what Kibana looks like when there is no time picker. This component would replace this view

This prop name is confusing because I think that's it's referring to the Update/Refresh button. Can you rename to isAutoRefreshOnly?

Adds showRefreshOnly prop to EuiSuperDatePicker. When set to true, only the refresh interval and isPaused can be modified
